Protege

hey i gonna get a new car between $15000-$18000 and so i considered the Protege SE since it look pretty nice. I am wondering if that car has lots of minor problems like my bro's 2000 Accord. Reply.

Well the only issue that are LX has had was that the alignment was off when we bought it. Otherwise everything is really good. Oh and it's the ES this model is top of the line (next to the limited production MP3) and has a lot of features engine wise the 2.0 is pretty bullet proof. Some minor annoyances woudl be loud cabin noise high RPMs on the highway and some egronomic differences. Other than that its a pretty good little car. Take on for a test drive adn push it to the limit on an off/on ramp you'll be very suprised. They are slow off the line but are really good at taking corners.

biggest issues

biggest issues were discussed a few posts below somewhere, where some guy complained about the door lock button being in the way a little bit of resting your arm on the door when the window's down. Yup, that's a big headache
