Fine wisdom comes in many forms. To be 20 and lament a long distance relationship can cause real pain. I'd sooner you console the 20 year old and allow him/her to experience what we all learned through it. Many have said to be prepared for the inevitable or to "dump that b#itch." I'd say: follow your instincts and know that this won't be the last time you'll experience anger, bewilderment, confusion, frustration, sadness, heartbreak, etc. Hang in there.

Pudge0878: we look forward to your posts.

FoxyM: we look forward to your advice.

Arrow Holy Smokes!!

Geeez, i left this thread last night assuming that it wouldnt get any post. But today i see it has 30 posts . Im feeling much better now, since ive read yall's advice and concerned messages. I really appreciate all the love and its nice to know that some people really do care. Ive decided that im just going to tell her that we need to just call it quits for awhile. I hate to do it but, waiting is only going to hurt us more. She said she was gonna call me back on Saturday since we needed to finsh our conversation about her not calling, but now its monday and their is no sign of her calling so.... whatever..... Maybe something will work out in the future, but as of now i just can deal with the neglect. Thanks again all of you

Good luck man, hope you two stay friends at least....

PS. Being a nice guy doesn't mean having to take BS from no one, so nice guys don't finish last, but the nice guys that take too much crap do. Don't take no BS from no one and you'll be fine

Yep yep classic, they dont work away from eachother that early on in life. young and open to new things people, experiences, the whole nine yards. If is not meant to happen if it already has not, your only prolonging what is inevitable.

Re: My girl has got me trippin..

maybe something you could try and do is find something to occupy (or someone) yourself, cause the way I see it is if the person really wants to keep contact , they will take that 5 minutes out of their time to call you and say hey boo , hi ,, yo ,, what's up .... it is not that complictaed, .. you also have to look at how mature the other person is in their livelyhood , cause some people have not reached certain stages in their lives that others have so she may not be at the same level as you are , . Sometimes you have to just back off take a step back and leave the other person alone , . they will continue to do what they are doing regardless, but once they realize what they can and stand to lose , they have to realize that they have to either step up or step down .... either or not both .....
I think that is rather selfish cause you took the time off to drive up there ,, and figure that is 8-9 hours , that is a lot of frigin miles to put on a car .. especially a new one .. .. I saw do what your mind tells you to do , cause it knows best ... follow that and you can't go wrong
