How to fight a law?

I found out this week that interior and/or exterior neons are completely Illegal in MI. I was curious about how someone goes about getting a law reviewed so that it might get changed. Does anyone have any suggestions about this? thanks.

first off...are you old enough to vote? if not...don't expect a polition to take you very seriously...at least not until you get a lot of REGISTERED VOTERS involved.

find out who the local legislative representitives are....start a phone in campain aginst the SPECIFIC law that makes them illegal....start patitions, hard copy patitions, and mail them to the law makers after getting TONS of signatures....its a LOT of work...and there is no guarentee that ANYTHING will happen....you requests may not even get a second thought.

yeah i'm old enough to vote, i like the petition idea, i could just start hitting the car shows and having car enthusiats, plus car stores cause i bet if they become legal they will sell even more. I just think its a rediculous law and takes away from peoples creativity. who knows if i can get enough people to sign and call in to complain then maybe something will happen.
