I bought my Protege LX sedan on June 2, 2001. Since then it has been stock machanically.

HID conversion at 8200K (silver & purple)
1996 GS-R spoiler (fits & locks perfect & cheap)
17" Konig Monsoon alloys
205/17/45 Kunmo Supra 712

Automatic
No engine mod
No drop
Will consider replacing the stock 2.0L with the 2.3L if it will fit.
I still have 2 years (or shorter) to finish my payments.
