Their music cannot be catagorized.... there are strong hints of reggae, rock, rap, blues/jazz, and instrumentals....
It's some of the most original and talented **** i've ever heard.
Much better than 'generic rock' like 3 doors down, not as heavy as metal, not as grungy as nirvana --just good music.

The band members are: Nick, S.A., Pnut, Tim, and Chad.
Ive been listening to 311 since 1992. They have been around since 1988. For those who think they arent popular, do the math
