Getting there....slowly but surely

So, I finally got my car registered!
My plate reads:
JDM-P5

Yay for me!

Well, after speaking with my Father for an hour, I convinced him to start a parts hunt for me down in Jamaica. I was like, tail lights, headlights, the rear cup holder...anything you can find! Hey...it's a cheaper alternative to having to deal with those nasty shipping costs from Japan (especially since I won't be BUYING anything) just the shipping and that's it. Same Familia 2.0 sport...just thousands of miles closer to me. At that point he reminded me that he had...yes unfortunately HAD in his possesion a bored out intake mani and some other protege parts. Turns out he sold his old car and gave the guy all the perf. parts along with it. Boohoo....however, Mazda parts are pretty abundant down there he said...so if I do recieve some goodies...I'll be sure to share them with you guys.

I just wish he'd step it up!

good deal... someone from her (noob) sent me a pm about his P5 down in triniad or somewhere. His car looked hot. had a 1.5L engine with a 7200rpm redline and made about the same 130bhp although no torque. body kit looked real good eventhough it was stock.

Do they have the 1.5L ZL-VE down in Jamaica too ??(1.6L-spec counterpart) Plenty of people here would be highly interested if you can source the parts......

All I know is...he said they have the USDM and the JDM versions down there.
****...my Dad said one of his buddies has a 400hp Eagle Talon TSI AWD down there....for heavens sake...you just drop a EVO III engine and some bolt-ons...and there ya go...instant head turner.

I'll look into this for sure though....I'm all about spreading the wealth man.

Yeah...Matty, I have some friends that are trini's and their cars are man!
