It seems your teacher was the loser in her high school, those who don't have very many friends, or who aren't 'popular' in High School have that kinda view, and she is a Teacher so she isn't actually getting payed all that much.. Maybe she needs to be looking for a high paying job if she wants to buy all the good things, or marry someone rich (like the majority of teachers do)

BTW, since you have a honda accord can you tell me for how much I can sell a '88 honda accord for? It has 208K miles and is in poor-fair condition.

$2500 at MOST..maybe even less..that is a lot of miles..I have seen 88's go for $1500 around here..look in your local newspaper or autotrader to get an idea..it varies from state to state..

Which is....? Honda makes high quality cars no doubt, and I beleive they do have the fastest NA 4 bangers out rightnow..I prefer the P5 over any honda though, I have built/tuned all Honda/acura motors with Turbo's, NOS, etc So I know what they are capable of, and I prefer the P5, kinda sad eh? I like all around comfort/handling/performance which Honda/acura can't really offer to me without some type of suspension mod and better seats..performance is good for what it is, but it lacks everything else. I originally had a JDM H22a (prelude vtec) Turbo in this accord, dynoed at 315 hp..Sold motor/turbo to pay for school. Now I have an NA JDM F22a

As a matter of fact I did pay cash for my P-5's.....and if your teacher has a new truck, boats and a big house you can bet she didn't get them all on HER income....most likely married someone that has a high paying job.

One thing you said your teacher said "your life really starts AFTER highschool" this is very true....school is just the beginning....but at the same time its when most of us have our first experiences of adulthood....and as I mentioned before...with little or no REAL responsibilities. You don't truely begin to appreciate your parents and all they have done until you are out on your own...makeing your own way....and after marriage and NOW you have another life to take into consideration, care for, take some responsibility for, and then there are kids. It changes your life.....Whether or not YOU or your teacher want to admit it.....your years during highschool and college CAN be very fullfilling and fun.....and truely some of the best years of your life.

BTW, I have a lot of respect for most teachers....they do a job that most won't....they deal with conditions that most wouldn't put up with....they have to deal with people that don't even want to be there....and only a few that truely appreciate their effort. Like most civil servents...they are grossly underpaid.
