B16 with tranny versus BP without tranny

I am basically speaking of the weight difference between the two motors... but notice one motor has the tranny on..

My friend was installing a B16 into his CRX and from time to time we would have to lift the motor onto and off the dolly. It was basically a breeze for the both of us to lift the motor. I was really amazed because both the head and the block are aluminum.

Ofcourse now when we went to pick up my BP(96) ... ****... we both bent down and grabed the safest places to lift we could find and once we tried to lift .. all you heard was uhhhhh...lol ..
Frigin motor feals like a hundred pounds heavier than the B16.

The Z5 was heavy , but not near as heavy as the BP .. Although the Z5 was still heavier than the B16 without the tranny. The Bp is significant'y heavier than both..

I don't know if anyone has tried lifting one of these motors. But if you have I think you would know what I am talking about ..

If I'm not mistaken it has an Iron block, thats probably why. My brother and I EASILY lifted the old engine from his Miata, but its a B6 so smaller and lighter.
