I just read that american reporter got killed in Pakistan.
One observation got my attention:

I am getting feeling that "big boys" in Defence Department and White House are just bunch of incompetent ******* and guys like us have to pay for it with our lives. What's up with weekly aircraft crashes? Soliciting profitable contracts by manufacturers in order to sell **** aircraft to US Army? I don't get it!

The Military isn't for everyone. Everyone that is in the Military is there by their own doing. It's not like these folks were forced or drafted against their will to do this job. Being sent to war and potentially killed is an occupational hazard they are all aware of. My father is a Colonel in the Air Force and to think he's putting his life and his co-workers lives in danger for your ungrateful *** makes me want to put a good ol fashion *** whippin to you buddy. The people that provide you the means to speak freely and live in a country where you have more than most and you liken them to *******?

What are you paying for? Are you in the service? Or is it because you pay taxes you think you are doing something enough to help the country? What about the people that are on the frontlines now paying with their lives and not posting messages on the Protege board? Makes you seem pretty petty that you complain about paying for it when others are bringin it and not singin it. Planes crashes and accidents happen all the time. Civilian or Military. To tie the crash into the profit motive of a contracted Defense Company is nuts. Truth be told, Military vehicles are more vigorously tested than anything you can buy now.

I feel bad they cut this poor guys throat. But just as our service members know the risks of their job, he knew the risks of his as well. He was writing a story about "Militants". You can rest assured he didn't think this was going to be a "Human Interest" piece. Sometimes when you mess with the Bull, you get the horn. It can happen to anyone, anytime, no matter what you do for a living.

It's really sad that there are such leftist groups with backward thinking savages. I hope they eventually get caught. I think the people we have in the White House have proven their dedication to ridding the world of these groups that always seem to be causing trouble. It's about time we have leaders with a sack to do something about these polluted idealists.

I agree with you too Mike, only thing is, Obender66 that posted this is from ONTARIO, which means he isn't a US citizen, and doesn't pay U.S. Taxes and prolly don't understand where you are coming from. But I agree, it is an occupational hazard that they all must face, especially a journalist in these f#*cked up countries....sheesh
