For Sale/Feeler 02 Protege5 Vivid Yellow 5 speed 8,500 miles
Money is tight, I'm poor, and I am thinking of selling my car. It is as follows:
02 Protege 5
Vivid Yellow
Black cloth
5 speed manual
ABS
Side airbags
Moonroof
Polished wheels (NO curb rash!)
Mods:
K&N drop in filter
FoliaTec red caliper paint
PIAA big round driving lights (direct swap with OEM ones)
Thule bike rack
Infinity Reference 605CS components in all 4 doors
Infinity Perfect 12.1D dual voice coil sub
Soundstream Class A Rubicon Picasso for the components
Soundstream Class A Rubicon 5.2 for the sub
Soundstream 1 farad capacitor
4 gauge power wire, 12g speaker wire to separates, 10g to sub, monster cable RCA's
custom fiberglass/carbon-kevlar enclosure in spare tire well
CLEAN installation (can't tell from looking inside except for tweeters which are barely visible)
ONLY Mobil 1 full synthetic oil (have reciepts)
ONLY Texaco/Shell Premium gas (have ALL reciepts)
Rubber floor mats over factory carpet ones.
Meticulously maintained. I work in a detail bay at a dealership and have kept this car spotless.
3M PerfectIT paste wax and 3M microfiber cloths used to wax it monthly
wheel wells, underside, inside of wheels are all clean almost like new
Car has only about 8,500 miles and I've owned it since new in October of 2001.
Only mark on the record of this otherwise perfect car was that in the summer a chain link fence fell on the passenger side and dented/scratched it. It was repaired by a very proffesional bodyshop (no maaco stuff here) and the only way it can be told that it was painted is by feeling the tape lines in the door jambs.
I'm asking $16,000 for it.
I have all the reciepts/paperwork for just about everything done, especially maintenance related. I've never had any problems with it at all. I have a new set of Dunlop SP Sport 5000's (same as that came from factory), new wiper blades, and the original speakers and foglights that came out of the car. The tires on it are in excellent shape though (balanced and rotated regularly).
