TRANNY in 4th?
Quick question regarding my 2008.5 Mazda 3 (2.3 liter) - 27 000 kms
While decelerating in 4th ONLY (not applying the brake) the automatic transmission seems to downshift (almost as if it's going into 3rd - WHICH IT IS NOT). It happens more often thAn not. There is a slight jerk (again as if it's downshifting) and the RPM'S rev up marginally then settle. If I do not brake and/or accelerate the car will then naturally shift down to third as it's supposed to. It happens only when decelerating, approximately half way through 4th.
I am taking my car in this Wednesday, but the one and only Mazda dealer here is questionable.
PLEASE...ANYONE?
