Question about the speed 3

I was driving through my friends neighborhood today and I saw the exact same mazda 3 that i had except it was the speed 3 and it wasnt a hatchback..I didnt know that they had those? Did they just put that logo there? It was on the drivers door panel that said "speed" in red...but there was nothing in the back. Did they probably just put a turbo in it ?

If it's not a hatch it's not a Speed3. They were only produced in the hatch. If someone has a sedan that says Speed on it that's all it is. A sedan that has Speed on it. It's just a logo or some paint. It's possible they could've put a turbo in but my guess is it's just a decal of some sort.
