I am a complete noob in cars, but is there anything wrong with my brake/disc?

Got this done in an auto shop, last time when my brake pad went out they asked me if I wanted something better, I said yes. I guess they put this aftermarket thing for me, dunno.

Nothing too out of the ordinary. A little deviation can just mean that some particulate ended up under the pad and cut a little bit into the pad or rotor. Are the rotors actually grooved, or just a very slight visual change?

 

Oh and you don't have too much life left on that pad. Make sure to check the inner one as well as the inside ones tend to get worn more quickly.

 

I touched it and it was a little bit grooved

 

Is the pad grabbing the whole rotor of just half of it?
