Serious Braking probems....
hey pplz I have a 99 1.6L DX w/ 60K and ever since a few months of having her my brakes have been acting up and all this week I did everything possible 2 check out the whole system...I've replaced the master cylinder 2 a new one, did a fluid pressure test 4 ail bubbles in the system only a little bit of bubbles came out, replaced all pads, shoes, & upgraded rotors to cross drilled & slotted w/ semi- metallic pads...and the response from her that I keep getting is the I have 2 push almost all the way down on the brake pedal 4 her 2 stop..... what do you pplz think it could be..??
the last thing I could think of is the brake booster...??? is that even possible 2 go out (brake booster)..?? THANKS .. I would reallie appreciate the help....

sounds to me like it's not bled properly. Does your e-brake work correctly with little effort?
I backed in a rear caliper too far when I changed the brakes on Daves car and the e-brake wouldn't work...we couldn't figure it out until we re-did the job and found out the real caliper piston was in too far and not grabbing the rear pads at all.
spongy pedal is usually air in the system though. Check the bleeder on all of your calipers and make sure they aren't wet or dripping first.
dont just go replacing expensive parts
