New to the forum , hello everyone
Just bought my first Mazda about 2 weeks ago. I got a black 2017 mazda3 touring. Manual transmission, Bose system. I love the car it's pretty fun to drive.
Unfortunately I have already trashed my factory Bose amp. I followed a sticky step by step to hook my subwoofers in the car. Using the wire taps at the Bose amp outputs method.
Hooked everything up and my LOC and my amp were both powered on as they should be, but I realized my right front door speaker wasn't working and my subs had absolutely no output. So disappointing
I unhooked my wires that I had tapped into the amp outputs and I removed power from my amp and LOC, and my door speaker still doesn't work.
I can also hear the sound sort of pulsating through my rear door speakers so I'm pretty sure I toasted my factory Bose amp. Figured I'd share with you guys in the hopes that if anyone tries to hook a system up they are extra careful. Apparently this system is not very forgiving.

Update
It appear that my amp is functioning correctly as far as I can tell. I have read that the front door speakers are wired in parallel , so they should both stop working if the problem were the amp.
Right now every speaker works in the car except for my passenger side front door speaker. I'm going to pull out my volt meter tomorrow and poke around to see what I can figure out.
I'm still trying to understand how anything could have possibly been messed up. All I did was tap into the wires that go to the front door speakers. Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks
