New to Mazda world and hello everyone

just went out and put down a deposit for a 07 mazda 3 speed with chrystal white peral color, I've been driving my 03 GTI 1.8T for the past 4 years, and since my lease end it's coming up next month, I decided to try out the Mazda 3 speed, it's got the look and all the feature especially the power coming out on that engine, I'll be picking up my car next week!!!!!

Welcome to the board, I too am a NEWBIE. This is a great site, I've gotten great advice already. Congrats on the Mazdaspeed 3. I've been drooling over the Mazdaspeed 3 for ever, but I'm happy with my regular 3, love it to much to get rid of it! LoL! Welcome aboard!

^^ white is not in the states.

yellow is definitely not in existence, and I don't think 'blue' is either.. just 'cosmic blue', the "yeah that's definitely just pewter grey.. wait no, I think I see a little hint of blue from this angle" blue.

In the states:
true red
cosmic blue
sunlight silver metallic (paint code 22V ftw!!!!)
black

In canada:
true red
cosmic blue
sunlight silver metallic
black
white <-- you bastards, it looks so nice in white

currently I have an 03 GTI 1.8T 5sp, for the past 4 years the car has been great, 2 little issues and was repaired under warranty by the dealership. The Mazda 3 speed or the regular 3 it's really european like ae well, that's why I felt in love with it not even test driving it before I sign the deal for that new SP3, the sp3 peral white which it's the one i'm going to get it's awesom, it has a lot of rooms, and it's super fast, even though you can feel the turbo lag on that sp3, but it's actually kind of fun to actually feel that poiwer when turbo kicks in. I'm not sure if it's true but the dealership told me that sp3 will be avaliable for only 2 model years 2007 and 2008, after that the Mazda speed RX8 will be released in the US and Canada(it's already avaliable in Japan)

I agree, I love that extra push into the back of the seat when the turbo spools up, especially in 3rd. I also love this feeling: "Wow, I just hit 70 in 3rd and there's 3 more gears to go..."

I'm 90% sure the RX-8 Mazdaspeed is just an appearance/suspension package right now.. it's no turbo rx-8
