Need Help, Please Respond!!!
Hey everyone, turned on my HID headlights today and the left one didnt come on. All the other headlights work, parking, high and low beams, including the right HID. I noticed a little bit of moisture in the headlight assembly for the past few days but didnt think anything of it, and thought using the high beams would just make the moisture go away.
The only problem is with the dealership. Last time i had the headlight assembly replaced, not for moisture, but because the HID was out with no signs of moisture. The dealership said that the headlight assembly was not under warranty because the car was in a wreck...which it has not been. The think that the metalltic specales in the paint is dust from the paint shop. So I am afraid to take it to the dealership to have it replaced because I don't want to pay the $850 to get a new bulb. Should the dealership pay for it because they did a faulty install which allowed for water to enter the assembly? I don't want to pay such a big amount of money if it is going to happen again...
