I just ordered a new Kand N intake and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me some specs after instal. Like gas mileage increase and if the hp is actually noticeable. K and N says almost 6 hp increase, is that true.

 

6hp sounds about right for an intake but don't expect better gas mileage from ANY mod ever. It just doesn't happen.

Gas mileage is a huge concern for manufacturers and if something as simple as an intake would increase milage then they'd include them from the factory.

 

All you did was bring your engine to the potential the manaufacters wanted it to be; but couldn't because of cheap plastic restricted intake. I have a AEM CAI; and I noticed a little better performance but nothing major.
