Mazda 6 driven

Mazda 6 came to us in june and of course it had to be tested. I got a chance to try it with 2.0 engine which has 141hp and 0-100km/h (0-62mph) goes in 9.6 sec which is actually same that has been measured for 1.8L 323 -99.

Dealer sent me a intoduction cd-rom and here is one video that tells something about the exterior. Unfortunally for most of you, the video is in finnish but don't let it disturb you.

I'll keep that video in the server just for a week or something because of limited space, sorry for that

size of the video is about 20Mb

Got quite a short test drive but the car feel very comfortable and classy. It feels like even bigger car than it is and I did like the interior. Very good seats and nice details, except that crappy-feeling audio system. Stock has only radio and you can but a "cassette player" or cd-palyer separately. Where the hell can I buy any cassettes? Next move must be LP-player or something. Seems like no aftermarket units fit there. Let's hope that 2.3L Mazda with Bose-system is good enough. I liked that car and wouln't mind to have one, well maybe someday I will.

A couple of finnish car-magazines have tested cars like (toyota avensis, nissan primera, opel vectra, mazda6) and Mazda won both testes. Must be the first time this happened.

I think you'd find more personal weapons, and an occasional anti-aircraft weapon then you'd find casettes hehe

I'm not sure how it is nowadays but couple of years ago you could have bought a tank from regular market if you wanted

And no, russians don't accept casettes, cd's and dvd's they must have. Also, most expensive cars here in Finland are registered to Russia. One day I saw Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 7 which was beautiful (and fast)

We don't see poor russians here (they stay in Russia) and who we see are ofter really RICH.

Talking Cool Word Misuse!

This is *totally* not a rip on use of English, but it's pretty hilarious (English, overall, is a rather illogical and difficult language). Anyway:

>A couple of finnish car-magazines have tested cars like (toyota >avensis, nissan primera, opel vectra, mazda6) and Mazda won both testes.

Mazda won both testes? Alright! Hey, if anyone buys a Mazda6 they can say, "My car's got *****, baby!".

Dude, no one and I mean no one butchers the english language like a North American. Hit a chat room some day, you really can't even call it english anymore. I can still hear engish teachers everywhere screaming in agony.

Bougha,

For a guy who types in a language that's not his mother-tongue, you're doing a heck of a lot better than 90% of the people on this board, who are mostly from north america...so don't feel bad that you got caught on a funny typo.
Sorry, I didn't meant to make (any of ) you think that I was pissed off

And yeas, that typo really was funny, obvioulsy most funny things are often made by mistake. Made me think those bulls ***** which were in "off-topic" section a while ago

And thanks for your comment, I just hope I don't SOUND like Mika Hakkinen or Tommi Makinen or any finnish driver

And now third magazine tested Mazda6 and third victory (though there were only Nissan Primera and Mazda6)
