Where do I tap the oil line to feed the turbo ??

I am uncertain as to where I tap the oil feed line for my turbo project. I already tapped the oil-pan with a -10an line for the oil return. I know that on Hondas the oil-feed line is done by using a t-fitting on the oil-pressure outlet and feeding the turbo from there. Can I do the same on my project which is a 1994 323 B6 1.6L SOHC. If this is true, then I'd have to run the oil line around the engine block up to the turbo, yes ??

Thanks a lot for your help ..

Yes. T-fitting and run the oil line around.

Yes, that's how the BEGI/FM and Spool kits have it done. From the oil pressure sensor.

Does anyone take detailed pictures when they do these turbo installs , or when you have someone install them ,,, I mean if you drop a turbo in your ride, take some snap shots for those who may be able to use them usefully ....

I hear you Bruce95 !! I am in the middle of the install myself and I admit that having a few pictures would have made my life a lot less complicated. Don't worry though, I am snapping pics of the whole process and I'll put them up once I am done. So far, I have pics of the "before" engine bay, Integra AEM fuel filter install on the 323, piston-swap, oil pan tap for turbine oil return, intake manifold port and polish, MSD SCI and Blaster2 install, and a few others. I'll let you guys know when its all set so you can take a look.

Hypothetical question, ...

Is it possible (if it exists) to use an oil filter relocator, in conjunction with an oil cooler, then hook that whole thing up to the turbo? Then there would be no permanent change to the car (tapping the oil pan) and you'd get the benefit of an oil cooler. any drawbacks?
