Turbo Lag?

I have 2003.5 MSP and I do not know if there something wrong with my turbo or what, but it seems when I punch the gas sometimes the car gets bogged down and is not accelerating like it normally would. I can hear the turbo still whistling but the power is not there (is it turbo lag?). Some one told me changing out the down pipe and any exhaust work would help out. Has anyone else had this problem from their MSP? Thanks....

Yeah, if you can hear the turbo spooling up then it's probably a leak.

also, the ecu runs horribly rich and casues all sorts of stumbling problems and hesitation. Depending on how serious you get about modding your car it can be corrected and run very fast but you'll have to spend some coin.

1. FULL exhaust, S-pip3 back 3"

2. Hard intercooler pipes - about $200 from a guy on the other forum

3. haltech F10X fuel management. -- just to control the fuel....will make LOTS of power
