I should have it in about 2 weeks. It costs $2950 before the 8% Texas Tax. Shipping is about $40. It will cost less or the same in gas for me to just drive and get it, so this may be an excuss for a ROAD TRIP!!

Well as some of you know, my car is in the shop getting some bottom-end maintanence done before the turbo (9.1:1 pistons, new rod bearings cause my old ones were toast). Well I get a call this morning form the shop. They discovered that a couple of my cylinder walls have been gouged a little. They will have to be bored out, and I would need oversized pistons.

Why the hell is this happening to me!:mad

I await their call to tell me how much longer, and how much more $$$$!

hehehee

Im getting anxious to get mine ASAP, im even selling nearly all my computers to get to 3,500 faster and even asking for Overtime. Im now working on sundays... cause I already ordered the Injen CAI, the Eibach Pro and the Sport Exhaust so I got out of budget.
Thats a total of: $870.00 !!!!!

Soon, The ES pipe (without 1 resonator)

I Hope FM send to Puerto Rico.

YAH,HERES ONE....where is the FS-DE block you had before the swap....go back to that one cuz it would not be a good idea to bore that block anyway, especially for a turbo engine....less metal=less ability to handle stress...turbo=higher stress on engine...final result: boom goes engine!!!...either use the old bottom end or if its gone get a new one

Here's an update. My block, along with all 4 pistons and rings are off at the machine shop now. There is a problem. The oil squriters under the pistons are giving them problems. They are trying to remove them without breaking them. Has anyone else (MP3-Owner) had this problem? Is there a way to remove these without damage? If so could you please help me out?!! The shop manual did not say anything about them. I hope to have my car back for a road trip to Houston next week, but I don't know...:

Oh yeah...I also found out my engine is a long block. The US versions are short blocks. What is the difference?

A long block comes with the head, a shortblock is only the block.
