Help, Boost at WOT problem?

I was wondering if any of you turbo guys out there have the same problem? When I'm boosting 3-5psi and I go into WOT the car goes lean according to the air/fuel gauge and looses all power like its being choked to death and hesitates and jumps. If a let up on the throttle just millimeter or so and come out of WOT it runs fine even while I'm still in the boost. Is the car in needed of better fuel management i.e. more fuel or is it the check valve thing by not letting the ecu see boost? I've installed two check valves like Spoolin suggested over at MP3.com and the car ideals fine. In fact under no boost in vacuum the car runs normal.

Also one more question on the boost control device? I've hooked up a TurboXS standard controller one line is to the actuator and the other is to the compressor side of the turbo. Andrew my fabricator suggested hooking to the intake side of the intercooler and Extreme says to hook it the intake manifold. What are you guys doing?

Thanks in advance.

when at wot, ur car uses preset values for fuel and ignition
it ignores ur o2 signal

under part throttle, it uses the o2 signals

that could be y u r havin this problem

the solution would be to get a fuel management computer that can control in both open and closed loop mode

Thanks

I'm experincing Fuel Cut Solution hopfully this friday www.Extrememotorsports.com will take care of things by add a adj fuel pressure reg., bigger injectors, and a AFC and some tunning and dyno time.

Update on Turbo

Got the car into Extreme Friday for some tuning they installed a universal fuel pressure regulator and bumped up the fuel pressure to 40 psi the car ran great until WOT and then damn fuel cut. We ordered a Vortec 12:1 FMU should be in this week and by next week we'll have it installed and do some more Dyno pulls. FYI with an additional 15 Hp tuned into car with Fuel pressure bumped up at WOT was only making 47 HP ugh! Before turbo was making around 80 hp. I'll keep you guys posted.

I was just thinking. You may need to wire in an auxiliary fuel pump or check the flow of the existing one. Just a thought

Car running great with turbo

Hay guys the turbo is working awesome at 6 psi of boost. I put two check valves before the MAP solenoid and one between the solenoid and the MAP sensor unhooked the neg. battery cable to reset all the codes and now I'm boosting away with no fuel cut problems. I'm still waiting on the 12:1 Vortec FMU. Right now I have a universal fuel pressure regulator on the car running the fuel pressure at around 40 psi, stock was around 20 psi. Once we get the Vortec in we'll verify it can run at the higher fuel pressures on the stock fuel pump and filters if not I'll make the necessary upgrades. I'm planning on building an custom intake manifold and fuel rail (www.sdsefi.com/techinta.htm) with some RC 550cc injectors this winter and maybe some stainless steel valves and forged piston heads if I can find them to withstand the higher heat of the turbo running at 8-11psi. Once the Vortec FMU is in I'll Dyno it and take it to the 1/4 mile track and run it at 8 psi and let you guys know what I get.
