um, are we still talking about a protege. Somewhere around 230-250hp your tranny will fail if your lucky. If you push it to 30 psi and somehow manage 300hp then your engine will prolly explode, or at least have a very painful death. Maybe, and I mean maybe with a tranny that can take the power and no less than 5 large thrown down to build up that engine, you might be able to sustain 300hp. Be very careful how you test your car. Then again, you can always blow up a friends car for free

Are you a little behind? I've put out over 325bhp on a bone stock GTX motor with no transmission problems and no engine problems. These "proteges" as you seem to just call them can withstand a LOT more power without coming apart.

i did 15.9 with my rear seat removed, front seat, jack, spare, half tank of gaz, timing at 14 degree and a new stock air filter. my Lightweight wheel probably help me to do this time.

yes is pretty much factory. i was realy happy wen i hit 15.9. the first run i did was 16.03.
next year i will try to do better whit more mod. this was my fist drag day and i only race 3 or 4 time this day.
