Exclamation Dyno Sheet

Here is the dyno sheet for our initial tuning at 8.5psi.

Note here that VICS is on at 2500-7500.

Quick question.

What is the rough cost to have a G1 protege at that level?

P&P Head w/ Springs $700
Haltech E6K w/ 2Bar Map & o2 Sensor $1300
FMIC + Piping $1000
3" Exhaust ~varies $300-450
450cc Injectors $100
ACT Clutch $350-450
GTX Turbo, Manifold, Lines, Fittings $450-650

Thats about it I think.

Total .......... $4200-4650

I think I did my entire setup for around $2000 since I went various directions with various hookups along the way.

You don't need the head, or the exhaust really, just a good intercooler and the power levels will be about 175-180whp. The head really helps though.

Wow.

I think I'll wait for the 1.6L kit instead.

I'm guessing price will be close, but since I own a G3 already, makes sense to wait.

Thanks for your attention!

And look at that turbo lag-it has only 100 whp at ~2700 rpm.
Get a V8-there's no replacement for displacement!

Yeah I know but it's something fun to play with, when am I really going to be up in those revs whil I'm whoopin darryl on the auto-x course?

I'll turn up the boost and see how fast it drops off, i'm curious since there aren't many flow restrictions now.

LoL, the turbo spools up before that, I only started at that rpm because of a small stumble I hadn't tuned out yet. Otherwise I'd have a bit more numbers down low. Check out the torque down there

Not on this turbo, maybe the T3/T4 will run at 30psi...... but this turbo maxes out around 15, and will hold about 9-11 above 6000rpm.

300whp on the T3 at around 14psi sounds about right.
