Doing BPT swap

Soon Im gonna be doing a BPT swap on my automatic 94 DX.The question is, Do you guys think that the stock DX tranny and axles will hold up since I have an automatic (No High RPM launches)?
Any advice would be great.

If i were u i would sell the automatic and look for a stick shift. And if ur gonna keep the auto get the lx transmission. Im sure ur tranny will hold for a bit but i wouldnt trust it ...Jon

you might want to search the site. I am sure you'll find a lot of helpful info on doing the BPT swap.

better yet, why don't you do this , find a lcoal junk yard , or call mazdaautorecycling.com and get them to send you a 3rd pedal ( clutch pedal , shift linkage , lx 5 speed tranny , clutch and flywheal or buy another one , shifter and rod and you should be set , . If you call around and inquire you will find out a lot ,, trust me , I start with corksport usually and then branch out from there...
there is also a place in Colorodo , called Foster look em up on the net on yahoo yellow pages.... you can type in salvage yards,, man you can get anything you want ....
