Converting N/A to turbo questions

I know what is involved in doing such a project, but here are my questions.
1: Are larger injectors absolutely necessary?
2: Is a FPR necessary?

Seriously, if our cars run rich to begin with, is that stuff really necessary? I spoke to a guy in MI I met at the drag strip. He has a 95 EGT with an in house conversion. He was running 5 psi (which he said was his limit) and runnin a 14.0.
Is Braden still selling manifolds/turbos? I just found out I'm getting some serious cash falling my way, and want more POWER!
