Well The motor will take around 4 or 5 hours with my friends the intercooler im getting the BLT kit so that shouldnt take more than a couple of hours . and the haltech im getting preworked to go in as easy as i can . The exhaust can be done in a shop in 2 hours. My buddy has done the swap himself before, i dont care if it takes a few days as long as its running good ..Jon 93 lx

Your welcome,

They are from the Factory manual.
Before I started this project, my mechanic friend said "You must get the factory manual to do this right" Specially since I’m making a 4dr GTX essentially. Besides you can only trust the info out on the net so much

I picked it up from a guy named George Davies, He sold it on CD for $70 US, I can't find his email address at the moment. I think it was Chiangfang ent. or something like that. When I find it I will post it.

rkKives, I have marked the hose in question with a circle and arrow (I took the libertly of using your photo). What does this connect to? I could not make it out from the diagram you submitted.

Thanks for the help

Thats the one that goes to the wastegate actuator. It T's off to the Wastegate solenoid then to the Intake pipe. You can go directly to the intake if you want. The solenoid just bleeds off boost at around 5300 rpm.

The Manual can be purchased by emailing:
george.davies@informaticsolutions.com

It's a quality scan of these manuals. If your gonna spend 3K-5K on your BPT conversion whats $70 to have the info at hand. Your local mazda dealer will probably not have this info available to ask when you need to service it. It comes with 4 factory manuals 92 protege, GTX GTR and NA 4wd sup. Thats less than 20 bucks a manual. Thats seems pretty fair.
