some specs for the BEGI turbo at full throttle:

-4 seconds in second gear (approx 30-60mph),

-6 seconds in third gear (approx 60-80mph).

they're crude cause i used my BBQ timer. anyone got stock specs? great videos!!!!!!!!

Great videos, that's one hot car you have there! If I wasn't afraid about voiding warrantys, i'd definately get a p5 and that kit. Go get some vids or racing some other cars! I'd like to see how it perfoms in relation to other cars. Great stuff, man, keep it up!

the stock car does 30-80 mph in 12.48 seconds, and the quarter mile in 16.79 seconds @ 82 mph.

in the video, it looks like the BEGI turbo does 30-80 in 10 seconds, 2.48 seconds faster.

so, everything else constant, i'd guess the BEGI turbo would be 2.48 seconds faster in the quarter mile, ie 14.31 seconds.

a little unscientific, but for what it's worth.

Thanks for the props! Played with a WRX a few weeks ago. Standing start I got murdered by the 4 wheel drive, he did not spin the tires. From a roll I edged him out. We had to shut down at about 90 mph.

WShade,
Maybe I missed it, but are you using an upgraded clutch yet? If not, is the stock one slipping a lot yet?

What sucks is that Corky didn't know/remember about the MP3s slightly advanced timing, so they are supposedly using a chip for the MP3 kit (see protegemp3.com thread in their forced induction section). I wonder how much the kit will be for me when I can afford it .

Stock clutch still. Only slips when cold.
