connecting a wire to the battery is incredibly simple, and much more logical, IMO, honestly, its not that hard man, just attatch a wire basically, and run it through the firwall, theres a black rubber cup/protector thing you just wire through. just try it. if you wanna go with the battery, then go for it. but im just trying to help you out, good luck.

just my .02

ok wel i tried the 9v battery thing today.. it worked.. but yeah i do think connecting it to the car batt would be better.. i looked under the hood and saw the spot where i should connect the wires so im gonna do that tomorrow.. so jus making sure this is right..
connect a wire on the (-) end of the batt on the bolt
connect that end to the switch
then wait.. another question
i have 2 neon tubes that i want to connect.. do i connect both of them directly to the switch? or do i connect the end of one neon tube to the end of the other one.. then connect that end to the ground? hope that question kinda made sense.. and one last thing.. connecting the ground... so i jus pick somewhere to put the wire.. or is there a special place.. my switch is going to be put in the switch panel.. ok one last question..
where do i put the wire through the firewall?

thanks for ur help...

The fact is...

I want to put neon light in my gf car....hehehe....to suprise her ...
But i'm no good in all the wiring stuff in cars.....

So, i saw your idea to put 9v on it.....

So, if she doesnt like my neon idea...it will be simple to pull it out......

So, for the first step, i will go out with the 9v. and if she likes it....i will going to risk my life for the car bat...LOL3

Thanks guys for the info!
