Lite Glow Kits? Good Idea?

Hey, I just got back from a car show the other day and saw some pretty sweet proteges with liteglow kits set up. I have always wanted to know if it was a good idea or not.

I heard from some people that it takes alot power from your battary and not a good idea to have them on while you're on the road at night with your lights, stereo system running... is that true?

And are there any good tutorial website that can tell you how to set up undercar lite glow kits? Or should I just find a shop to do it for me?

Any peeps with pics of their interior liteglow or exterior liteglow set ups post the photos, that would be nice.

Peace-

Low Glow

Hey I think is a good idea... Why? Cause thats how I got my Protege. I got the green undercarriage kit. It was easy to install, don't take it to a shop they'll ask you for at least 80 dllls. If I had pictures I would show you but I don't have any now. One thing though... Red and Blue are illegal, any state.

Neons use VERY little power so as long as it's legal it wouldn't be a problem to have the lights on while driving........even with a stereo system.....

easy to install..........do it yourself and save some $$$

I like them, and that's all that counts, right?

I don't know about the wiring and stuff, maybe when I get my next paycheck

That was my impression too, that it was illegal everywhere. But by some of these posts, I don't think thats the case.

Oh well, I'll be here in Minneapolis until I finish college, a few more years... so i don't really give a rip because they're all illegal here... damn jesse ventura and his ugly porche....

i live in connecticut, and any colour is illegal when you are driving, if your parked and showing your car they are fine, they are just a major distraction for drivers, the answer me and my boy got from a state cop, after getting a warning./..
so if your parked and wana show off your goods go for it, im thinking about it myself, i saw them at autozone for 150.00
