Do some internet searching, consumer reports has done car wax testing every few years, Last time through, they liked prestone and plain commercial Xymol wax. I have used Japon wax before, but based on thier recommendations, I started using prestone last fall. It actually did very very well through the winter, and cost less than 10.00 per bottle!
Cheap and recommended!
Enjoy

Mothers Good!

I use Mothers CLeaner Wax in the red can, it lasts all winter and
gives a good shine. You have to get it all off when dry though or
else it is difficult to get off.beer

Liquid Glass all the way, keeps the finish like new even five years later, bonds and lasts for about 6 months.

My dad just ordered a bunch of Zaino, so i will drive home sometime soon and use it. I have been using a lot of Zymol stuff. I am very impressed. They sell some cleaner/waxes for about $12 for 16oz and some waxes for $500+ for 8oz!!!! My friend ordered a jar of the regular wax for $35 and it takes very little to due a whole car. Anyway the car looks awesome when you are done

go to www.zymol.com if you are interested

To get this:

I use 3M Wax and Imperial Hand Glaze. Found it at Pep Boys both for $20 total.

ZYMOL!!!! Wonder German All-natural polish. Made with almond & banana & other crap. If used properly, the shine is unbeatable. About $15 for the bottle of polish- they have other products, too. For instance, they have a carbon based wax that retails for a couple hundred $ a bottle! (I haven't tried that one yet- maybe when I get my M3... someday)

ha ha, dude, what's the point of spending $1200 on exterior shine when it'll rain 5min after you wash it! those guys are funny, unless their customer base is centered in the desert...

UNFROTUNATLY....the nekid women option wasn't REALLY an option...at least not one that they advertised on the site...the way I look at it...if you can afford to spend $1500 on a tub of car wax.....you won't have ANY problem finding nekid women to come and apply it to your car...or anything else for that matter! lol

thanks for the feeling so woe for me dude....I am feeling a bit better now....already called the GOOD glass shop in town...and the insurance company.....gonna cost me $150 out of my pocket....and the new glass goes in on Monday afternoon. And I am thankful that the dirty bastard got off the ground that far and didn't take out the hood...or rip off the roofrack or something else...or even flop over the top and take out the sunroof!! just glass.....after a little work you won't even know it happened. :{D and there will be NO BONDO on the car!!! lol

http://www.zymol.com/destiny.htm

Read the instrutions... "Put a very small amount of the glaze to the palm of your hand. Use the warmth of your hands to melt the Carnauba"

LOL, the "warmth" of your hands. Man, that wax must be for really lonely/rich men!

What is the correct way to keep your cars finish maintained. Polish or wax? or both?

I need to do my car soon, and it looks like im going to get some Zymol or Zaino. Polish or wax?

I wash my car weekly. I plan on waxing (2) times a year. Is this good enough to maintain the paints finish? Some cars require hardly any maintaining, while other require alot more. How do Mazda finishes in the long run?
