Does anyone here know how close in color the P5 Vivid yellow is to the Miata Sunburst Yellow?

 

i thought they were the same...

 

If they are, that's great. I called two body shops, one said they were real close, the other said they were different. That's where I got confused.

 

Yeah my dealership had a Miata LS in sunburst yellow parked right next to a Vivid yellow p5 in the showroom. I asked if the color codes are the same and the sales rep said yeah...but again this was at a dealership. He said Mazda had the names different to give a feeling of rareness to the different cars, and to confuse people that actually care...Who knows but in the light of that showroom I couldn't tell a difference...

You know, actually I did. I didn't find anything but, the one place I didn't look until you posted was model info After you posted I figured I should check again and low and behold there it was

THEY ARE THE SAME. My bad.

 

they are identical colors...just different names...they have the same paint code.
