We only ever removed truck back windows or rubber sealed side windows, the Cali sun is our heat lamp An good tinter will get most of the water out and a few mins with a heat gun on the edges or an hour outside in the hot sun, will seal up the edges nicely. The rest will take longer, generally 7-10 days for hybrid metallized film and 10-20 for sputtered "all metal" films.
Yes - I saw it with my own eyes when he took me on a tour of the shop while my p5 was getting done. They remove and bake the windows that can roll down so that you can use them immediately on picking up your vehicle - that way no 7 - 10 day wait..

Interesting that Weber charges $400 for the rockguard. If they are gettig their stuff done there, including the 3M guard, then they are making quite the mark-up. Plus European would probably give them a break compared to you or me.

My eyebrow is shaped a bit different as it curves down on the sides. I am trying to post some pics.

Hey, if you want to see my rock guard before you decide maybe we can hook up sometime soon?

Cheers
Chris
Interesting?? Doesn't surprise me one bit! Don't forget - it's a STealership we're talking about here...

My eyebrow's got a bit of a curve to it too. It's level with the bottom of the bracket for the rearview mirror, then curves down as it spreads out to the edge of the windshield.

How do you like the rockguard? Hooking up would be cool - maybe at the next meet, or sooner if that won't be for a while.. Whereabouts in edmonton are you? I'm a north sider..

Hi Jason

I love my guard as I sure can see some other hoods being dinged up so I know mine is working. I guess the only thing I have to worry about is the ones that miss and I am lucky so far.

Yeah I was thinking before the next meet. Actually I am a north sider also (hmmm, sounds like some sort of gang no? ). I live north of 137 Ave. It's funny but I have seen several P5s up in my neck of the woods. So far I have seen a red, 2 blues (1 I know), 1 black, 2 silvers and another yellow with different rims.

Let me know which day is good for you. I would think that this weekend is no godd for either of us however I am in town and around so you never know. I am planning on going up to St. Alberts one of these evening so maybe we can get a milk shake at Soda Jerks?

Cheers
Chris

I'm very north of 137 ave.. 170 ave to be exact!

I see tons of p5s on the north side. Jarman must be making a killing. I've only seen another blue p5 once, so I think blue is the rarest color (yaaay!). Maybe I was the other blue you saw!

I've seen quite a few silvers - i usually see one leaving st. albert every morning as i'm driving in to work. Seen a couple whites, lots of yellows, couple blacks, couple reds.

I'm busy this whole weekend - assembling wedding invitations pt1 on friday, helping my mom move sat morning, working at the video store sat night, assembling wedding invitations pt2 sunday, canada day monday.. SO.. next week some time sounds good to me! I actually have Tuesday off from my real job - so if you're off, we could hook up during the day. If not, Thursday is the only day that I already have plans.

Hmm.. that wasn't you that parked beside me at Eaton Centre last sunday was it? Went to see Minority Report and coming out there was a silver p5 parked next to me.

170 Ave is not that bad, at least it is not 170 ST.

Yeah, next week sounds good. How about Wednesday evening?

As for being at Eaton Centre last Sunday, sorry not me, plus I have a Yellow P5. Remember, it was the one on the right end at the last Edmonton meet.

BTW, I just saw a blue P5 at Cineplex Odeon on 137 Ave last night. It had a bra on.

Cheers
Chris

Wed should be cool. Just gotta check with my Fiancee and make sure there's no plans that I don't know about...

What time and where? I think that weds at soda jerks are motorbike night or something..

Well there is always Chapters just down a bit. Always lots of parking plus there is a Starbucks there. Bring your Fiancee as my wife will probably come along.

How does 7 pm sound?

Cheers

well, IMO thats way overkill. Sorry, not laughing at you at all bro, but that shop has way too much time on their hands to be pulling glass... Like i said, we'd hit the edges with the heat gun so the windows were usable right away. Only come backs were for tickets and the funny thing is, after they'd get the ticket, they say screw it, and go even darker....i love it!
