Exclamation switch mounting question...

Hey everyone this is my first post. My girlfriend has an 03' Protege ES, I'm trying to install an underbody neon kit on her car and wanted to insert 2 switches on a custom made panel in between the stock fog light button and the dimmer button. I wanted to know how to remove the 2 blank panels in between those two buttons without damaging them. Do I just pry them off with a mini flathead or do I have to push them out from the back? Someone please help

Thanks

Hey, thank you all for the info and, prior to asking this question I was at the dealer, asked one of the mechanics the easiest way to get those off and he said they should just pop off, he unsuccessfully tried with his mini screwdriver and left a penpoint-sized nick in the plastic around the switch . I think I'll try it myself from behind the switch this time!!!
Thanks again
