What kind of dash kit are you using? Metra has an ugly looking one, but the Scosche is much better looking (I had to order it from crutchfield because no one in town sold it that I knew of).

it came with a radio from crutchfield. The kit really is fine, it's just that the metal supports are pliable, and thus you can squeeze your way around the DIN sleeve tabs. I don't really see another way you could do it though. You could have the support be plastic, and instead just have it snap off if you try to get around it. I don't see how that would be any better.
