Stock Head Unit Removal

Hi,

I just remove my SHU yesterday, if anyone want to have picture of the unit out of it's hole to figure how to remove and how it is holding in that hole. I will take picture only if anyone is interested with.

I can also provide picture that show where the power cable run from outside to inside, detailed macro pictures.

also while you are at it, could you measure the depth of the unit and post it as well?

I can't mesure it right now, I'm at work, but for your information there is a lot of space in there ...

To answer to your question I will mesure it when I will takes pictures.

u don't need to take out the dash to install a HU. simply remove the two small side pieces next to the stock HU. Use Ford removal tools or wire coat hangers to pull the HU out. But its not nearly as easy as that when u try it. Good Luck.
Also, do a search on this, there have been several threads I found useful regarding this topic.
