Stock deck removal on '91 323

I'm trying to find out how to remove the stock tape deck from my '91 323...I've tried looking around google but haven't had any luck. Anybody know what to do?

If it's anything like my protege, there is a trim ring around the radio, you can take it off real easily, it reaches up to under the climate controls. If you can access the back of the radio now, there is some kind of metal harness holding in the factory radio. You have to stick a screwdriver back there and pop it out. I don't remember exactly how I did it...maybe somebody can be more specific.

I finally got it off this morning :-) i just started pulling at the black trim around it. I spent a lot of time going around the dash unscrewing things and now I feel like an idiot because it didn't help at all...lol

Now I get to go have the wiring checked inside my car I guess, something keeps draining the battery and my alternators are apparently working perfectly
