Alarm Question

Ok, im still looking at buying a P5 for my first car, however, i would like to have a security system. How good is the stock system. Or should i get an aftermarket one, and which one? One more question, will an aftermarket alarm system void my warrantee, like the ecu immobilizer one? I know mazda sells an ECU immobilizer for 500 with install, and it is covered under warrantee.

Need Help, thanks

HS

They cannot void your warranty for having an aftermarket alarm installed. I would recommend a DEI system, Viper.

Avital System

I put on the Avital DEI Remote start system, and I love it! It works great, its not tooooo sensitive like the other cars. Noise doesnt set it off, unless you break the window! So I dont have to jump out of bed in the middle of the night, because a cat walked on it! check it out

Any aftermarket alarm is only as good as it's installation.

but, well installed, any Viper will provide years of trouble free operation and performance.
