Hi everyone, I am new to the club and have ha my P5 for just over a week now and have loved every minute of it. I had a question I was hoping someone could help me with.

Does anyone know how to turn down the sensitivity of the factory alarm? It is very sensitive and I would like to turn it down a little....any help/suggestions please

Smile

No my key fob doesn't say that on it....I have the standard remote that has lock, unlock, and the panic button....hmmm....is yours the factory alarm from mazda or an after-market one that was put on by the dealership? Let me know and I'll see if I can help ya further.

The info I found I can tell ya.....

Look under your dash on the driver's side and if you have the factory alarm, there will be a small black box with a white **** coming out of it, turn it counter-clockwise to turn down the sensitivity or clockwise to increase the sensitivity.

Let me know how it goes.....

mine was installed by the dealer, so i guess there would be some other way to adjust the sensativty of it.
