hi, i have this problem with my car (i have a 94 pro lx auto tranny) where my speedometer is not working at all. also, the hold button on the dash keeps on flashing. the tachometer and everything else works, except for the speedometer and the hold button flashing. this started happening after i accidentally pulled out the cable under the hood that connects to that area. i plugged it back in, but it's still having problems with that. did i screw it up by accidentally pulling that out when the negative cable is still connected to the battery? thanks.

 

It sounds like the speedometer cable is loose, or disconnected...
