I couldn't take pics man, sorry... My hands had never been so dirty! Basically, I removed the battery. After that, you will see where the batterry sits -- on a "bed" of some sorts. This "bed" is secured to the chassis with 4 bolts. You want to take those out... The next step is to unscrew a bolt that connects the air filter element and this "bed" -- the 5th bolt -- you can't miss it. It turns out that this battery "bed" is not entirely removable. I was hoping that I could take it out, but it was clamped or something to another holder and I did not try to get it out because I was scared of breaking the plastic and not being able to fix everything like it was originally. So, I just unwraped the positive wire -- it had some electrical tape wound around it to hold it against a plastic holder. Then I just yanked it to the side. I wasn't able to get any extra lenght by pulling it. It goes into a split loom along with some other wires and that **** is very tight -- you won't be able to pull the wire out - not even a little. So I just yanked it to the side of the battery and from there it is able to reach my new terminal. And that's it. Good luck!

so basically the wire is long enough except that you have to break off a lil plastic clip that hold the wire in place and re run it to the other side of the battery? and then cut the ring clamp thing that clamps to the post and then screw on the distributer right?

This might have been what you asked before but I didt understand it... run some 0/1 wire to the terminal and crimp it on or solder it or something like that?

Also do you have AIM?

Here's a picture:

Basically, green shows how far the positive wire can reach. Routing it from the side of the battery, I can make it reach the terminal.

The purple arrow shows how much longer I'd need the wire to be in order to reach the terminal from it's stock route.

I hope this helps.

I think it's 8 gauge. All I know is that it is not as thick as the 4 gauge wire for my amp.

here's what you will find if you do a search on sounddomain.com

http://www.sounddomain.com/shoptype/Distribution+Blocks

http://www.sounddomain.com/shoptype/...ibution+Blocks

one type is fused, the other is not. look at all the brands and different models and pick one.

if you don't like those, go to thezeb.com. you might find something different there. here's a link to the Wiring section. Go to each company and see if they have what you are looking for -- http://thezeb.com/caraudio/accessories.html

actually, are you looking for a battery terminal with a lot of outlets or just a distribution block? cuz that makes a lot of difference!

in and out.... so, I guess you want a distribution block? not a battery terminal with outlets - like mine:

I got mine at thezeb.com.
It is $19.99 -- I got two of those because I needed one for the amp's power and the other for the DIY ground kit I will be installing later.

I just want to make sure you KNOW what this is -- it is a BATTERY TERMINAL not a distribution block.

here's what the bottom looks like:

Those are one 1/0AWG, and two 4AWG outputs. Mine is the BCMU2. Lighning Audio has a different version which you might like better - the BCMU1. It has one 4AWG, one 2AWG, and two 8AWG outputs. Looks just like mine except for the different outputs.
