Painted New Box!

okay, so i painted my box and added a crapload of clear-coat. can i sand this? i want that glass look, and i was thinking 1500 grit might do it. it's pretty glossy now, but i want more. or should i just leave it alone?

anyhoo, i'll post pics when everything is done.

Yes, you can wet sand, then do another layer of clear. The trick to getting a good glossy look, is sanding and the proper layering of the paint. Tough to get perfect, but it is only sandpaper, paint and time.

holy crap i f#cked it up!!! i sanded it and i guess i was so impatient that the paint hadn't dried completely, and i left smudges! i'm so frickin' pissed! now i gotta start all over again! actually, i am just gonna sand it a bit (60 grit) and use a thick coat of primer, then paint again...

bastard!
