hahhaha! i can totally relate cuz it rains just as much if not more in Vancouver! but actually that kills 2 birds with one stone cuz
a) i wanted to see how the yellow calipers look overall
b) i was worried how it'd look when it got dirty!

Hey spikey those yellow ones look great, with blue it's a good match. I did mine red as the taillights were red so i thought it'll be better. I'll try to post pics soon too.

And ya.. no guts no glory, i was a bit scared at first, but now i'm thinking of taking a crack at installing my own CAI too.

I painted my calipers blue this weekend.!!

I painted it ford engine blue to match my drums I sanded the calipers, wiped them with a rag and then masked everything I didn;t want painted with masking tape and newspaper.
I put 2 coats of paint on and waited about a half hour between coats.

Looks awesome!!!

Yeah, I am starting to think the same way... because every time i do there is a little sprinkle of rain and it is dirty... Yet once it is dirty it doesn't rain agian untill i wash it.... I wouldn't mind so much if the amount of rain we got was a lot.. then maybe the fire bans could be lifted or something..... But all we get is a few drops...

Ya if you end up not liking the paint job or the color on the calipers you can always just sand it off.

Okay here are the shots of spikeyC's P5 taken today.

I think the front shot is not too good as the sun was really bright. Oh well.

Hop onto eBay and do a search for "caliper paint"

Find lots of options, for between $28-$50 or so dollars..

I prefer the Folia Tec style that you brush on... I've seen the results of them in person, and like the quality, and I'd be worried about overspray, etc.

TurboTodd, have you seen the Folia Tec paint on any online retail store? I hate sleazbay, and would rather pay a retailer for the kit.

Also, anyone else have experience with the Folia Tec kit? I like the idea of a brush on, since overspray is always a possibility, no matter how much you cover the car.

You can get high temp caliper paint from most hardware stores, Canadian Tire, Lordco, and such. Just remember not to get any paint into inside of the caliper sliding parts.
