yea that's true im gettin a lil too concerned, but the way irish has his tails look dark enough for me.

i need a close up irish if possible.

i wanted it real black like so that u cant see the white or red during the day, but the way irish has it seems good enough 4 me lol. i think i'll try the saran wrap idea.

its not saran wrap. Its sticky laminate plastic. Use to laminate paper and things like that. Just use it on the light assy. Then paint it. I will put up a picture when I get home tonight. I am at work and do not have access to the pics I need. Durring the day they look dark untill I hit the brake. I was worried about getting rearended cause my brake lights were not bright enough, but it does not seem to be a problem

I bought a can a long time ago but haven't had the nerve to paint. First, because cops here try to screw any type of modification. Second, because it has to be painted carefully or it will glob/streak/run Third, if I DO get a ticket how would I remove the paint without buying new lenses. Fourth, I've heard that with the road salt (in PR it would be sea salt in the air) it eats away at it or flakes it or something similar.

I looked up the laws here in Puerto Rico and they say that as long as the RED lights can be seen from 500 feet away or something it's OK. But I didn't see any law prohibiting the alteration of lenses.

You can get a can at Summit Racing
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=7842
that's the link.

Oh and before I forget. If I'm not mistaken, on the can says for off-road only.
