New Clarion Head Units are Amazing!
Anyone see the new ones yet with the motorized faces. OMG they are amazing. They will run you $550-$600, but if you want the best control of your system then look into them. Unbelievable controls. I am very impressed and depending on this years tax return when it comes in, I might upgrade to it.

If you are referring to the DXZ925 model then I'd have to say I'm not all that impressed. Personally, I don't care for the looks and the abilities of the HU are lacking for the price. It does have many features but nothing that grabs my attention. I haven't heard of Sirius Satellite Radio. The XM Radio seems to be a bit more popular. And the CeNET thing is interesting but it only controls optional receiver add ons, none of those abilities are built-in. Oh well.
I much prefer my Pioneer DEH-P930 HU. I have yet to see a more clean looking HU. Since almost all of the functions are accessed with soft buttons which work like menu's on a computer, there is little clutter with tonnes of different buttons on the face plate. Instead it simply has a single row of multi-function buttons along the bottom with a nice Organic Display above it.
My $0.02.

Dunno. Eclipse will always be the only HU for me, unless someone comes out with somethin awfully amazing. I honestly feel Eclipse has the best sound quality to offer, and the nicest cleanest looking decks out there. They aren't into all those bells and whistles and crap.

not a clarion fan, but damn that deck is tight!
altho i love blaupunkt's top line hu's, i'm really not too crazy 'bout decks. i mean sure, there can be sound issues that vary from hu to hu, but nothing a good eq couldn't fix.

Man Clarion is great sound quality without tons a stupid features but
Eclipse is where is at for anyone who is serious about an excellent system, as soon as I get my shizzit together and two more amps, I need one that puts 200watts for two cahnnels for two Dual vioce coil subs , Impps. then I need one for a pair or Reference Q614 I think MB quarts. After that its a Eclipse deck with no internal amp so I can optimize the quality and options for price. What amps should I get. I was thinking Xtant(for subs), and another kicker for my front MB Quarts, or Lightning Audio for subs, not sure what to get dont want to spend mroe that 600-700 total but I want to save as much as possible.
