I don't believe that the airbags come out of that SRS patch.

1. The airbags are pretty large and the patch is like 1" square. 2. I have heard people say that the sides of the seat have a special stitching in them that rips apart when the airbag is deployed.
3. A company that custom makes seat covers and has been doing so for a while now does not have a hole over the SRS badge but instead the side of the seat.

However, I have no idea where they come out of and neither do you. But you keep talking like you KNOW they come out of the SRS badge. Before you go around telling people you KNOW they come out of the SRS badge you should find out for real. You are messing with a major safety device here, you should not just be guessing and possibly giving out false info that could endanger peoples lives. Somebody should contact Mazda and ask where the airbags deploy from.

That is why I said "I _think_ it's right out of the SRS patch hole". In fact I have asked the question:

Right Here

Please, someone, enlighten us.

Regards,
Tim.

Look at these photos: http://www.iihs.org/safety_facts/qanda/airbags.htm

Now, let's get back to the topic at hand.

Group buys

So I hitup wet Okole, and they said no-go on a group buy "we prefer a one on one relationship with our customers" Which I s'pose I can understand. The other company said they'd be possibly interested, but it didn't sound like anything that'd be worth it unless we were talking like 25 or so. I just got more info and a swatch of fabric from Wet Okole in the mail today, Looks like I'll be ordering a set of those. I for one dig the Wet Okole logo, seems to be a pretty reputable company, I've since found more happy customers. After our shop-ride last night involving everyone crashing and thusly covered in dirt and blood, I've decided that it'll be money well-spent.

Thanks again Nate for the info. Your reply was precisely what I was looking for. Especially good to know they hold up well. May you be blessed with many tight, winding traffic-free drives. One more Q for you.. Do you remember bychanc ehow long it took to get yours?

Poseur: I'm stoked that I could help you out a little. I think(it's been awhile) they were at my house pretty quickly. Lol, I don't really remember the wait, so it must not have been too long.
My Mazdaspeed Muffler was a different story....over a month of anxiety.

AgentHex: Sorry for my quick temper. I hope you don't think I'm a complete dick.
Peace.

By the looks of the photo, they do seem to come out of the stitching. But that's on a different car and the photo's really small and not detail. Damn, seems really hard to get a straight answer for this one.
