Neoprene Seat Covers

Check these out from Coverking.com they are $400 for all seats or $200 for either front or back. They have many colors, and they fit the 2001 and up coupe and P5. The guy even said they were safe to put on seats equipped with side air bags. Soo what do you think or or

custom?

Are you looking at the custom covers? Or the "universal" covers?

It seems like if you're going to pay $400, you might as well plunk down another $200 or so and do what this guy did...

It funny how you said "plunk down another $200..." That is a lot of money for something that looks exactly the same. I was thinking about getting the ones that were "imatation" leather. The only problem i am facing right now is quality.

I figured if I was gonna go cheaper (custom-made leather would be wonderful, but expensive), I may as well get the ones I did. $36 + postage for the set on Ebay. They are vinyl, but soft - not sticky plastic.

The backs fit perfectly, the fronts are a bit "poochy" on the seat backs. Once again, though, for the price they protected the original seats well enough. Oh, yeah - I added the MP5 labels myself.

It's been a while since I got them. They were called MATRIX SEAT COVERS and the seller was sticker4u@yahoo.com.

Why would you want neoprene?

Cuz if you're like me and into sports where you get dirty or wet, what better way to save your seats then by having waterproof covers on them?

Those seat covers from coverking are actually made by a place called wet okole. You may want to just order directly from them - may be cheaper.

I'm saving up for a set for myself, but since 2 fronts are 225 USD it's like a trillion CDN so it'll take me a while...

Anyway, the actual manufacturer of those neoprene covers is Wet Okole - check out the website, you can order sample swatches and match em up to your interior. I have a bunch of different samples myself...

Why I wouldnt want neoprene:

Because, when i sweat on a hot summer's day and i am wearing shorts my leg will contact the neoprene frequently. After this, I break out into a severe rash that eventually begins to puss and do other kinds of nasty *****! I am allergic to it! WTF?! I have never heard of anyone else being allergic to it-but I am!
