It is super easy!

I bought two 10' neons that have the cigarette lighter plugs. For the driver's side you thread the tube behind the front consol (hole thru from passenger to drivers feet) and then I used double sided tape (usually supplied with lights) and black zip ties. There is a lip on the molding that hangs down and the light fits quite snuggly in this space. zip tie all the wires out of the way and do the same thing on the passenger side (same lip there if you run your hand along the bottom molding). I then put in a spilter for the lighter plug so both plug in good. (actually ones for the front grill lights and the other has the two interior light spliced together on it). A small compute fan was slapped on to keep the box cool.

you could also just run the wires under your carpet and wire it into the parking lights under the dash...first look under the hood to determine what color and pattern the positive wire is first, and then get under you drivers side dash, and find that wire....you can get tap splices from Home Depot, which lets you tap into the wire, without cutting it......this will make it so the lights go on whenever you turn on your parking lights....i am thinking about doing this myself (with blue), but instead of putting it under my seats, i am going to put it under the glovebox and under the steering colum, so it will illuminate the footwells.

Exactly where I got them but they are 20-30 bucks in Canada... grrrr! Anyway, they do look the best right under the glove box and the steering column. I am now trying to locate some diamond plating to put on the floor instead of the floor mats. Hard to find around here. Helps light the interior a lot more than just the regular mats and carpet. mmmm shiny. Does any one have any other good spots to put lights in the interior that are hidden? I'm putting some under the lip of the bottom of the back seats and perhaps on th side of the car between the front seats and the seat belt column.

these i suppose could be considered neons? but i wired my indiglo pedals to the power wire for my radio with those tap in clips that they sell at radio shack it was super easy and its nice because you can't see any wires at all be cause their right up under the dashboard seems to me like this would be a good way to wire neons if your gonna put them under the dash on the driver and passenger side....just my .02

i myself also just finished installing underdash tubes and strobes in my clear corners. i also used the lighter, but not in the same way, i just put the metal part of the lighter and put it behind the console then plugged the neon plug in. then put the black cap back in the spot where the lighter was.no splicing or tappin.

as far as other hidden places, when i bought the neon and strobes i also got some lights at radio shack that im goin to put in the vents and tap into the underdash neon. ill attempt it this weekend...

need digcam to take pics...soon
