Need High output alternator

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a hi output alternator? Preferrably 300 amp. I am located in the northwest.

how much power are you running? I have problems with dimming and just installed a Batcap400 I got from www.carsound.com (used, but $130 shipped, you can't beat!) I'll let you know the results. Alternators are very tricky to do. I know of one guy who had his rewound for more amperage and had problems since and another who got a GM one, but had a time putting it in. I can give you names if you are interested. Just let me know.

I'm not sure what a Batcap is exactly, but I have a 3-farad digital cap and when the bass hits the voltage drops from 13.5 to less than 10. I also upgraded the battery to an optima red top but still the same. I am looking for about a 240-300 amp alternator.
